Update to MoD usage
Hi all. Just a quick announcement to let you know that we're changing the way Mark of Death cases are processed. Previously, after a MoD went through, the MoD manager would send a message to the attacker asking them for the evidence they have to justify the MoD. This led to victims of MoDs having to wait for their attackers to respond (sometimes up to 3 days!) and obviously during war time, this loophole could be used to the advantage of an attacker where even if the attacker knew that the MoD would not stick, they would use it to buy time and have the victim sit out crucial war moments.
We're going to ask that any time a MoD is used, the attacker should create a ticket in the MoD Appeals channel on Discord and submit the evidence they have... |

About the recent Admin WhacksI'm sure by now you've all noticed the admin whacks for players allowing permanently banned players to lead their war rooms and influence the game. A permanently banned player should not have any influence over this game. It's happened once too often that a crew wins a war through all manner of cheating, and even though its members have been caught cheating and whacked before, that only a few members are implicated in leaked texts; so the victory stays intact and the other side loses out. When this happened a while back with Kongsi, we made a resolve to punish those involved with the war and those who were apart of the crew, knowing that their leaders and fellow members are cheating. It was either this, or those who w... |

Recalled Fraudulent DMDear players, As you know, we recently had players commit fraud with donation money. In doing so, around $750 of bogus donation money got introduced into the game. We've written this announcement to give you an update about that situation. But first it should be mentioned that after an appeal, Cookie was found innocent: in his case it had merely been an honest mistake with PayPal. We mentioned last time we would be writing a script to undo some of the damage caused. We're happy to say we finally managed to get the analysis sorted and by the time you're reading this, we've probably executed the recall of the extra donation money that was introduced into the game through the donation money market. Affected players (those who bought DM from the 2 fraudulent players) will receive an event telling how much DM has been subtracted from their account. The amount of money they paid for it with in-game cash has... |
